Have you always wanted to know what lives in the North Sea? Go on an adventure on the beach and experience a great day together that you are sure to remember. Sign up quickly and go on an excursion with Gjalt.
Fishing on the beach is a special experience where you can learn about the animals that live on the coast and in the North Sea in a fun way!
At the nature center at Geversduin campsite, you will first learn more about marine animals, weather conditions and how to get there. After a nice bike ride through the dunes, you pull a trawl (fishing net) from the beach through the surf, after which you can watch and even touch the catch.
From years of experience, Gjalt knows how to get everyone involved with his infectious Amsterdam enthusiasm!
A trip lasts about 2.5 hours and there is no such thing as bad weather! Bring warm (outer) clothing, swimwear and a towel. For those who want and if possible, wetsuits are available for adults and children. Shorts are often also sufficient for pulling a net through the surf together.
Children under the age of 12 can come along if accompanied by an adult.
The cost is €7,00 per person. This also applies to the accompanying parent/guardian.

Together with our experienced guide you ride directly from the campsite through the area where dunes alternate with forests and beautiful water plains. Short climbs, curves, tree roots, singletracks, dune ponds, loose sand and singing birds.
During this 'dune safari' you also have the chance to encounter Scottish Highlanders, Koniks horses, Exmoor ponies, goats and sheep. Our very own Big Five!
Handy to know.
Dune pass required! When staying at the campsite you already have a dune pass.
This excursion price includes the rental of a mountain bike and helmet.

Have you always wanted to participate in a boot camp class? Here's your chance! Marco teaches a class every Tuesday night. If you want to push your limits through bootcamp or exercise and be outdoors, this is a super fun activity for you!
In these classes you will work out outside in a group setting. During the classes you use materials from the environment. You don't stay in 1 place, but you move around by walking, dribbling, running or sprinting.
In this hour you will be moving around and having fun.
Did you know you can also do family boot camp?
