Who and what:

• Camping Geversduin: the party that rents out and provides a rental bicycle/bicycles and any related accessories to the Renter; 
• Renter: the natural person who enters into a rental agreement with Camping Geversduin for the use of a rental bicycle/bicycles and any related accessories; 
• Rental Agreement: the agreement between Camping Geversduin and the Renter under which Camping Geversduin rents out a bicycle/bicycles and any accessories to the Renter. 

Applicability of these rental terms and conditions 
These rental terms apply to every offer/reservation and to every rental agreement between Camping Geversduin and the Renter, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. 
 
Start and end of the Rental Agreement 

1. The Rental Agreement starts at the moment the bicycle(s) and/or accessories are received and lasts for the period of the reservation. Extension of the rental period is only possible after consultation with and approval from Camping Geversduin. 
2. The Renter must return the bicycle(s) and accessories to Camping Geversduin no later than the agreed time as stated in the Rental Agreement. 
3. Early return of the bicycle(s) and accessories to Camping Geversduin terminates the Rental Agreement, without entitling the Renter to a refund of (part of) the rental fee. 

 Use 

1. The Renter receives the bicycle(s) and accessories in good condition. 
2. The Renter will use the bicycle(s) and accessories in a normal and proper manner and will take good care of them as a responsible renter would. Bicycles and accessories may not be taken onto the beach or into the dunes. 
3. During the rental period, the Renter must take precautions to prevent damage, loss and/or theft of the bicycle(s) and accessories. When parked, the bicycle(s) and accessories must always be locked using the lock(s) provided. The Renter must remove and keep all loose or theft-sensitive parts when parking the bicycle(s). 
4. On the day the rental period ends, the Renter must return the bicycle(s) and accessories clean, in the same condition and with all (loose) parts as received, to Camping Geversduin. 

Rental fee, payment and costs 

1. Payment for the use of the bicycle(s) and accessories must be made in advance, at the reception desk of Camping Geversduin when collecting the rented items. 
2. The Renter can cancel the rental free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. After that, the Renter is required to pay the full agreed rental fee. 
3. Due to high demand for rental bicycles at Camping Geversduin, it is important that the bicycle(s) and accessories are returned on time. If the Renter fails to return the rented items by the agreed date, they will be liable for the replacement value per bicycle and must pay these costs to Camping Geversduin. 

Liability for damage, loss and/or theft

1. Camping Geversduin is not liable under the Rental Agreement for any damage, whether direct or indirect, of any kind, suffered by the Renter or third parties, regardless of how the damage occurred or who caused it. 
2. The Renter must report any damage to, loss or theft of the bicycle(s), accessories, key or battery as soon as possible to the reception of Camping Geversduin. 
3. The Renter is liable for any damage that occurs to the bicycle(s) and accessories during the rental period. This includes, among other things, the costs of repair and/or replacement, which must be reimbursed to Camping Geversduin. 
4. The Renter may not carry out or arrange any repairs to the bicycle(s) or accessories themselves. 

Obligations of Camping Geversduin
Camping Geversduin provides the bicycle(s) and accessories in good and safe condition, equipped with the necessary features to protect them against theft. 
 
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to every Rental Agreement that includes these rental terms and conditions. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Noord-Holland.
